Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Georgia
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations with precision
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Represent Atlanta Logistics Group with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro area and Georgia highway systems
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early weekend start times (4:00 AM or 5:00 AM)
