Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Oklahoma and surrounding regions
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT-compliant logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status and delivery updates
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and prioritize time-sensitive shipments
- Represent Virginia Logistics professionally with all clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Oklahoma roadways
