Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within NC and surrounding states
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
- Accurately complete electronic logs, manifests, and delivery documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible schedule with overnight travel as needed
- Must pass comprehensive background check
