Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries across Indianapolis metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent our company with professionalism during customer interactions
- Report mechanical issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness/maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with occasional holiday shifts
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro routes and traffic patterns
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
