Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and DOT safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Operate in diverse weather conditions across Texas routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Must reside within 50 miles of El Paso, TX
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
