Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within North Carolina
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document all vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Represent Prime Transport Solutions professionally at all client sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays with occasional holiday shifts
- Pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
