Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) on designated weekend routes throughout Fort Worth metroplex
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and customer communications
- Adhere to strict delivery time windows while maintaining safe driving practices
- Participate in monthly safety training and equipment maintenance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Fort Worth/DFW metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) and flexibility for occasional overtime
- Basic computer skills for delivery documentation and communication systems
