Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for weekend delivery routes in Tampa Bay region
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance documentation is accurate
- Load/unload freight with precision using appropriate equipment
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery records per FMCSA regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions while meeting delivery windows
- Represent our company with professionalism at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience in regional freight delivery
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay metro area and Florida highway systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety protocols and time management skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips or route adjustments
- Pass background check and drug screening (DOT-compliant)
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
