Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries within San Francisco Bay Area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and local traffic laws
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Manage precise loading/unloading of freight with proper documentation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive and high-value cargo
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco geography and Bay Area routes
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements (Hazmat a plus)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) mandatory
