Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries across San Diego County
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and timely pickups/deliveries
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of temperature-sensitive materials
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and clean drug screening required
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with occasional weekday availability
