Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and strict safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and dispatch software
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment handling
- Maintain constant communication with dispatch team
- Represent SwiftLogistics professionally at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Strong navigation skills across diverse terrains
