Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional delivery interactions
- Adapt to dynamic schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation
- Report maintenance issues and uphold vehicle cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Knowledge of San Diego County geography and regulations
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Experience with flatbed or refrigerated transport preferred
- HAZMAT endorsement highly desirable
