Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving practices in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana traffic laws and route navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Previous experience with hazardous materials (HAZMAT) certification preferred
