Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods on regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Tennessee roadways and regional logistics
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
