Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve routing issues and communicate delays
- Document all delivery activities and maintain electronic logging system accuracy
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed transport preferred
