Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated) on regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Ensure all shipments are handled according to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with regional Charlotte/North Carolina routes
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Basic computer literacy for logging systems
