Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using equipment like pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (mandatory)
- Familiarity with Detroit metro area and Michigan highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early mornings and occasional overtime
