Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) on local/regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Ensure timely delivery of temperature-sensitive freight
- Adhere to HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate lift equipment when loading/unloading cargo
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (no violations in last 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Arizona's road networks and regulations
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in variable weather
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Smartphone proficiency for ELD and communication apps
