Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, flatbed) within San Diego metro and surrounding areas
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols during all transit operations
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with GPS routing optimization
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Knowledge of California road regulations and weather considerations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
