Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Excellent driving record with no recent DUI, reckless driving, or hit-and-run convictions.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
