Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV) for regional and long-haul routes in and around Minneapolis.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and adhere to all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo safety and integrity throughout the transit.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and safety personnel regarding schedules and delivery requirements.
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and company policies.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and cargo securement procedures.
- Willingness to submit to a criminal background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
