Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety and functionality
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time deliveries while adhering to schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and safety regulations
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 50 pounds and climb trailer steps
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
