What You'll Do
As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. Your role is vital to our supply chain, and we provide the support you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in varying weather conditions.
- Load and unload freight securely using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and electronic records as required by DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee area routes and logistics hubs.
