Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefers, flatbed) across Florida and Southeast routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining excellent customer service
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle paperwork and documentation for each shipment
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Miami/Dade County traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of DOT Hours of Service regulations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts as needed
