Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (A or B)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR and passing background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of Houston metro area
- DOT medical certification
- Flexibility for early morning starts
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD usage
