Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across Texas and surrounding regions
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Deliver freight on time while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route updates and delays
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling protocols
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
- Represent our company with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts
- Texas residency required for local routes
