Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload freight accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Georgia CDL endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and background check.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
