Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) within DOT regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS systems and manage delivery timelines
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance issues
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all federal/state driving laws and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and trip planning
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- No major preventable accidents in past 3 years
