Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid State Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 minor moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local, regional, and interstate traffic laws.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
