Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and tractor-trailers over long-haul routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring the security and safety of the shipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and cargo status.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean MVR record.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
