Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including delivery logs, mileage, and inspection reports (DVIR).
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Navigate efficiently across the Albuquerque area and surrounding regions to meet delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and partners during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with the required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles/Triples if applicable).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
