Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) to transport goods within San Francisco and Northern California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage route optimization to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and Bay Area geography
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
