Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
- Operate in diverse weather and traffic conditions
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Long Beach/CA routes preferred
- Hazmat endorsement highly desirable
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts
