Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across North Carolina and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and route planning
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Handle loading/unloading operations with efficiency and care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
