Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across Washington and neighboring states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while optimizing route efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazardous materials endorsement
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Washington state roadways and weather conditions
- Hazmat/Tank endorsements preferred (training available)
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
