Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) across regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and document all activities
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining accurate delivery records and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Manage loading/unloading operations when required
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold professional company image
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year recent tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
