Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues or delays.
- Adhere to strict schedules and time management standards to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a professional appearance and keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
