Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and fuel logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Team player with proactive problem-solving abilities
