Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various routes in the PA and NY area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements (Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
