Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes across Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Perform pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, and accurate documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain timely delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients and at customer sites
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and regional geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
