Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Southern California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and maximize efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Handle specialized freight (e.g., refrigerated, hazardous materials with proper endorsements)
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and DOT compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
