Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight with secure loading/unloading protocols
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Milwaukee metro area and regional routes
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
