Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) across Texas routes
- Adhere to HOS regulations and maintain meticulous trip logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal routing and delivery timelines
- Handle specialized freight (refrigerated, flatbed, or dry van)
- Represent the company with professional conduct at all customer sites
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
