Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbook accuracy
- Inspect vehicles before/during shifts to ensure optimal safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong knowledge of Boston/Northeast corridor geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
