Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or B trucks safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time while providing exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle operation.
- Basic math skills and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
