Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for regional routes across Colorado and neighboring states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company operational procedures
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and accurate documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management and timely deliveries
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse personnel
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for compliance and route optimization
- Represent Mountain Express Logistics with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Clean background check and no major moving violations in past 3 years
