Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional routes within North Carolina
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns immediately
- Represent Prime Logistics professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
