Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or Class B) to transport cargo to designated locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure cargo properly and adhere to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and stay updated on traffic laws and road conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and cargo handling procedures.
