Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status and delays
- Ensure cargo security and temperature compliance (if applicable)
- Report vehicle maintenance issues immediately
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- No preventable accidents in last 3 years
- Strong customer service and communication skills
