Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within assigned routes across Texas and the Southwest
- Maintain meticulous trip logs, vehicle inspections, and compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and timely deliveries
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance needs proactively
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and basic navigation technology
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability focus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
